I haven’t been an avid TV watcher since I deaded my cable a few years back. But a friend put me on to this new animated series on FX called Archer.

Created by Adam Reed the man behind Adult Swim shows, Frisky Dingo & Sealab 2021 – Archer aims to offend, but not with dick jokes and bathroom humor the way you would expect. The writing is intricate and witty. You find yourself doing a double take… Did I just hear that?

It looks like FX has given the green light to a 2nd season. If you haven’t seen any of the first season, do yourself a solid, quit being a dummy and check it out.

Everything you need to know about Archer :

Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), a spy agency where espionage and global crises are merely opportunities for its highly trained employees to confuse, undermine, betray and royally screw each other.

The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as suave master spy “Sterling Archer,” whose less-than-masculine code name is “Duchess”; Jessica Walter as his domineering mother and boss, “Malory”; Aisha Tyler as his ex-girlfriend, “Agent Lana Kane”; George Coe as his aging-but-loyal butler, “Woodhouse”; Chris Parnell as ISIS comptroller and Lana’s new love interest, “Cyril Figgis”; and Judy Greer as Malory’s lovesick secretary, “Cheryl.”

The building on the corner of Roebling and Metropolitan Ave is anchored by two business – Boundless NY and Roebling Tea Room.

And it only makes sense that you might spot someone from Boundless at The Tea Room on a regular basis. The staff takes care of us.

Happy Hour runs 7 days a week from 3pm – 8pm - 3$ pints of Dale’s are exactly what gets you through that mid day/evening slump. And our WiFi signal stays on 5 bars there. Work meeting anyone?

If your not lounging out on the back couches, milking the Happy Hour Special, you have to try the food.

The Mac and Cheese is so good you will slap somebody. Try to contain yourself because my man Horton behind the counter will dice you with his intricate knife skills. If he needs to.


If your into it – Brunch here is really good, but busy. So get their early. Also make sure you check the rotating Dinner Specials by the Head Chef Denis Spina.

Roebling Tea Room gets the Boundless stamp of approval. Whether you show up for the 3$ Pints or need a date spot in the hood, this is it. Just don’t tell too many people, I need to always have a spot at the bar.

On Sept. 12, 2009, DJ Shiftee, represented the USA in the 2009 DMC World DJ Finals. He took home the title, was automatically inducted into the DMC DJ Hall of Fame. Bringing the fabled gold Technics turntables back to NYC!

This new title places his name along side over 20+ legendary DMC World Champs including DJ Craze, A-Trak, DJ Cash Money, DJ Cheese, Rock Steady DJs (Apollo, Mix Master Mike & Q-Bert), Plus One of Jack Beats, the late Grand Master Roc Raida and many others.
