RETAIL RADIO WAVES : BOUNDLESS NY

1308

Another episode of Boundless Radio was held amidst the blizzard-like conditions @ 225 Hudson last night. Downloads and Video by Kellen Dengler will be available next week on the Boundless Blog.

Boundless Radio Resident DJ Teddy King’s recent interview with RICHARD “TREATS” DRYDEN have been included in an article over at Afingo. Highlighting the connection between retail and podcasts – Boundless NY is featured along with American Apparel and Diesel. Check the excerpt below…

Another alum from EVR’s hall of fame is DJ Teddy King who hosted the weekly hip-hop-based show, Boundless Radio. It’s named after Williamsburg’s one-stop-shop for streetwear by core brands King Stampede, and Stussy.

New Yorkers know Teddy King as the experienced battle DJ-cum-nightlife staple who plays rarities and exclusive songs by Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, and Company Flow.

Since leaving EVR’s headquarters in NY’s Lower East Side in 2007, Teddy King records podcasts that play in-store, but also spins live for shoppers at Boundless NY’s new Tribeca spot. “I thought the family vibe was a good idea,” says King. “Doing it from the store, you could be a part of the show if you’re a customer or just a friend of ours.

MORE DAN WOLFE TV

Boundless NY’s newest Facebook friend is none other than famed skate videologist Dan Wolfe. Yeah, I’m bragging about it.

He’s been busy filming for Adidas for awhile now. And this video came out at the end of 2009. I’m 2 months late, forgive me. But I love the Gonz face plant at the beginning, so I posted it anyway. Plus Dan’s videos are so clean.

Check out Dan Wolfe’s other amazing work on his YouFaceTube account and make sure you get a copy of Eastern Exposure 3 at Boundless NY.

BOUNDLESS NY PRESENTS...

1302

Cover Art By Jimmy Papers Words By Aaron Hansen

We’ve been sitting on this compilation of BT produced tunes for awhile now. The grand plans were to press up a limited run of this amazing remix project. Make it 2 disks with the instrumentals and the Kellen Dengler Produced Video being included on the second disk.

Then life happened and the deadline we set passed. But BT’s Beastie Boys Mix stayed on heavy rotation in the Brooklyn Store. And people kept asking about it. Was it for sale? Who did it? Where can they download it?

We couldn’t keep it under wraps any longer. And we are happy to say that this is another Original Mixtape banger from your talented family at Boundless NY.

He also has produced, mixed, and mastered his own line of mix cd’s. Adapting to the new school while still keeping that classic sound has proven a successful formula for the aspiring artist.
